    My name is Ramón Jesús Millán Tejedor and I born in Valladolid (Spain) in 1975. I received my Advanced Telecommunication Engineer degree from the Valladolid University in 1998. I also finished a Master in Business Administration oriented to Telecommunication Companies from the Madrid Politechnical University in 2004. In both academic programs I had excellent grades.     

    I have an accumulated experience of more than 10 years in the Telecommunications sector, during which he I have worked as systems engineer, software programmer and designer and technical coordinator, in Iberia Spanish Airlines, Inad (Altran Group) and Ericsson. My principal responsibility has been the integration verification, technical and sales support, certification, training preparation and delivery, and solutions specification, of multivendor (Ciena, Ericsson, Marconi, Pirelli, etc.) optical networks equipment and management systems for the transport of voice and data. My high level of English and medium level of German, has allowed me to carry out my work in several countries of Europe, as England, Sweden and  Italy. During 8 years I have the technical coordinator and customers relations responsible in this strategic area of Ericsson Spain, that has achieved important contracts of network rollout and it's associated services, being the reference market for these products of all Ericsson around the world. In July 2007 I started to work as solutions and product management engineer for GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Networks) in Entrisphere, transfered during 6 months to Texas and California in EEUU. My primary objectives were to build competence in this promissing emerging technology of access with fiber to the home in the Spanish and Latinoamerican market of Ericsson, make market and competitor analysis,  provide offers and presentations to customers, analysis and negotiation of technical requirements with customers, etc. In January 2008 I returned to Spain to become product and solutions managers for all Telefónica Group, achiving important contrats in different countries.

    I have received, during this time, several  technical, business, management and leardership courses, in different institutions and companies
(Achieve Global, Ericsson, Geis, Hewlett-Packard, L&M Data Communications, Marconi, Microsoft, Strategic Company, UNED, etc.), emphasizing the Ericsson Datacom Technician and Ericsson Leadership Curricum certification programs from Ericsson. 
    
    Considering my activities related to the spreading of Telecommunications, I have been collaborating for more than 9 years with several telecommunications and computer sciences Spanish magazines (BIT, CEDRO, Computer World, Comunicaciones World, Manual Formativo de ACTA, Redes & Telecom, PC World, Programación Actual, Windows NT/2000 Actual) with more than 63 articles of technical character and opinion, as well as reports and interviews, published at national and international level. I am also author of 9 books about smarth homes, telecommunication technologies, P2P networks, IP convergence, marketing online, Web programming and mobile services. I have also been proffesor of several courses and seminaries about Telecommunications at Universities and telecom operators (ONO, Telefónica, Orange, UC3, Vodafone, etc.). In 2006 I were awarded by two articles and in another one I were finalist, in the competition about "Easy Telecom Guides" organized for the celebration of the "Day of Internet 2006". I have been also very active with associations as ACTA, that help to protect the technical author's copyrights, and COIT, for the promotion of Telecommunication Engineers in the Spanish society.
